Fontas and Pinnell


Fontas and Pinnell is a benchmark assessment system that provides tools to identify a students instructional and independent reading levels. The assessment measures reading levels for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade.

NWEA


NWEA is a test given in the fall, winter, and spring each year to all students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This is a nationally normalized assessment that covers the subject areas of math and reading for kindergarten through 5th grade and science for grades 3 through 5. M-Step


M-Step is a summative statewide assessment given each year in the spring for grades 3 through 5 that measures a student's mastery in state standards. For more information regarding M-Step including testing schedules and reports please visit Michigan's Department of Education M-Step page.

MI-Access


MI-Access is an alternate state assessment for students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that have been identified as needing Michigan Alternate Content Standards. Information regarding this assessment can be found here.
